If you don't have time...it's your own fault

How many times do you think or say "I don't have time"? You can't work out because you don't have time. You can't visit with friends because you don't have time You can't read that book because you don't have time. I am pretty sure if you think about it, you will realize that you say those four words an awful lot. And it's true. You probably don't have time to do those things that you want to do..but here is the thing. Your not having enough time is your fault. Do you want to know why? I'm glad you asked.
It is because you have filled your schedule with too much. There it is. You!!! You control your schedule.Everything that is on your calendar, you allowed to be there. So if it is full, then you filled it. You decided on the things that had to be done. And if those things are not really what you would rather be doing, then you can fix it. So let's go back.
You are the master of your schedule. You decide from the time you wake up to the time you go to sleep what you will be doing in between. So if you are guilty of overbooking and cramming your schedule with too much stuff, then you are the one who needs to fix it, so that you are spending time doing the things that you really want to do.
So now let me ask you this question. How are you spending your time? Are you spending it doing things that are important to you? Are you being fulfilled?
When you agree to do something, or make your "to do" list, make sure you are choosing to do things that absolutely have to get done that day, that will give you satisfaction and joy and that you just want to do. it's your life, and time is something that we can't get back. Make the most of yours.
